How strong are you?

Why do we wait until our strength is depleted before we seek God?

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord...and in the power of His might."  Ephesians 6:10

As women, we carry the weight of the world on our shoulders.  We worry about our families as we manage our homes and assist our friends, churches, and communities.  We maintain busy schedules as we transport kids to soccer practice and school functions.  We cook, clean, work, and care for aging parents.  No wonder we run out of steam!

Yet God wants us to rely upon His strength, not ours...to exchange our weakness for HIS power.  What are you waiting for?  Seek God's strength!

"He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.  Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,  But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint."  Isaiah 40:29-31
